Aliya 6 months!

Our sweet baby girl is growing up too fast!

I wish I could do that!

Monkey Mamas March 2009

Gwen and the kids making sock puppets!

The making of the hooter hiders!

Noah's Ark finger puppets

Is there any wonder why so many wanted to make nursing covers?!?

For anyone who doesn't know what Little Monkey Mamas is check out the blog with the link on my blog list! Fun, fun, fun!

Tyson's B-day!

Tyson turned 10 on March 23.

He requested a, um, family night cake for his birthday. (Formally known as a better-than-uh huh cake)

The first true sign of spring!

These are the first flowers to appear in my beds this year! They're a little tattered, but the weather hasn't exactly been kind!

Spring?

This is our dog Sneakers. He turned 11 last month, and that makes us sad! His still healthy and spunky and all that, but I can't help but feel his days are numbered! He's awesome and we couldn't ask for a better dog!

Sneakers loves nothing more than to play soccer, by himself of course, and, um, with a basketball. They work the best!

The boys and their "jump".

Great!

Aliya and her great-grandparents, Evelyn and Eldon Ward.

Star Power

Savanah and her best friend Abby Croft as the wicked step-sisters Ettagrizelle and Bellagrizelle (and Asher) in "Cinderella", a part she has been practicing for her whole life!

Future Cinderella

AAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that's big hair!
Okay, seriously, we need some help here! Her long hair on top is so fine it's hard to put a pony in it. When I do there's so many new hairs about 1 inch long they stick up everywhere! And when I put a curler in it then it makes a huge curl that sticks up several inches. It's impossible!

Roller Hockey!

(this is Darin on the right and his fearsome opponent)
A friend of ours celebrated his birthday by challenging his friends to a game of roller hockey. Okay, so he didn't know this, it was his wife's idea, but it was a good one! It was great fun, especially for me (the photographer).

These last three are out of order due to the tired blogger who forgot to upload them backwards! (Does everyone just love the time change as much as me?)

Way to slam the birthday boy, Kade Smith. (That would be his wife, Jesalee in pink)

Our band nerd!

Kadyn and his fellow tromboners, Jareth and Collin.

In the end, it's the nerds that rule the world! Can't tell me Bill Gates wasn't a nerd! And he's not cute like Kadyn!

New playtoys- the best kind!

Love it when they find their toes!

Fabric for her tutu! Loves it all ready!

So much for finishing that crocheted washcloth at home! Never should leave Enrichment meeting without a finished project!

Thought for the day!

Enlightenment must come little by little-
Otherwise it would overwhelm.
  ~Indries Shah

This just so describes me!  It's probably because I'm a slow learner.  That's why we have such huge sometimes tragic events in our life, that's what it takes to get our attention!  Anyway, just thought I'd share!
